Founded in January of 2001, Patches and Badges for Kids, NFP has been assisting local families in need for almost two decades. The program started off as “Shop with a Cop” in which local children and their families were able to go Christmas shopping with a local law enforcement officers to purchase presents they might not have been fortunate enough to receive otherwise.
The group then evolved to include local motorcycle clubs, first responders, community organizations, and businesses in Madison county. Patches and Badges for Kids’ mission is to provide items for children in need, whether that need stems from emergency situations or other sources. Without the support of these various entities, that mission would not be possible.
In their nearly two decades of work, PBK has survived solely on the generosity of local volunteers, donations, and good samaritans.
